Car Repair & Maintenance Log (“the App,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is handled when you use the App and how it is used.
Information You Provide When you use the App, you may enter: Vehicle details (for example: make, model, year) Maintenance and repair records Mileage, service dates, costs, notes, and reminders Fuel and expense entries If you contact support, you may also provide your email address and any details you include in your message.
How Your Data Is Stored Your data is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s services. We do not require account registration in the App.
How We Use Information We use data only to provide App features, including: Service history and maintenance tracking Reminder scheduling Fuel and repair cost tracking Sync across your devices (via iCloud) Customer support responses Data Sharing We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. Data may be processed by Apple only as needed to provide iCloud sync and related platform services. We may disclose information only if required by law.
Data Retention and Deletion You control your records inside the App and can edit or delete them at any time. If you delete the App, local data is removed from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can remove iCloud data through your Apple account/iCloud settings.
Security We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Children’s Privacy The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since most data is stored under your control (device/iCloud), you can usually manage it directly in the App and Apple settings.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
